Our Prices for insulation removal and roof vacuuming range from $15.00 to $40.00/m² of ceiling area, and the quote price is a function of the absence or presence of complicating factors. Most single-storey residential ceilings fall into the $15.00 to $30.00/m² category, and a good figure to use when budgeting for this service is $18.00/m²of ceiling area.

New Insulation

Our Prices* for new insulation are $16.50/m² for R-4.0 batts – supplied, installed, GST included – for any of the top three insulation products listed on this page.
*Please note that this insulation price is a base rate for roofs with good access. Difficult access roofs attract higher rates. Nevertheless, it is our practice to keep our prices as close as possible to this base rate.

AGI Big Batts and BRADFORD Gold Batts are the highest quality ceiling insulation available. These two products are equal firsts on every measure of importance – their insulating properties, their consistency of quality, and their anti-allergenic attributes are identical. Both are Australian products, both come with a manufacturer’s warranty of 70 years, and the batts of both are golden yellow in colour.

KNAUF Earthwool Batts are a similarly high quality insulation. This is an imported product, the manufacturer’s warranty is 50 years, and the colour of the batts is mottled brown.

FLETCHER Pink Batts are a close second to the top three, and many builders prefer them for the reason that they are marginally cheaper than the top brands. By choice we do not supply Pink Batts, but we will install them where they are supplied by our clients.
